| Jagjit Singh Is Dead |
MUMBAI: Indian ghazal singer Jagjit Singh-70 passed away in Mumbai Monday.
According to sources, the condition of the Jagjit Singh, who underwent an emergency surgery for brain haemorrhage at the Lilavati Hospital on Friday, continued to be 'critical' but 'stable' on Sunday.
Singh was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital and was kept on a ventilator.
A high blood pressure patient, Singh was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital almost a week back. He was later diagnosed with having suffered brain hemorrhage.
