"Steve Jobs is dead"
The Apple chairman and former CEO who made personal computers, smartphones, tablets, and digital animation mass-market products passed away. Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor.Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.
We're going to miss him. Deeply, and personally. Steven P. Jobs passed away on October 5th, 2011 after a long struggle with pancreatic cancer. He was just 56 years old. We mourn his passing, and wish his family the very best.
